Designing xAI’s First Supercomputer Facility
xAI Colossus Supercomputer Data Center
In 2024, Gresham Smith quickly transformed a 785,000 square–foot former Electrolux appliance manufacturing facility into a cutting-edge data center as the first piece of xAI’s plans to bring the Colossus supercomputer online. This building is the first in a series of data center facilities being buit on the xAI campus in Memphis, Tennessee.
