Knoxville is the 9th Gresham Smith office this year to earn recognition for its strong, positive culture.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Gresham Smith established the Knoxville office location in 2005. Locally, the team specializes in providing architecture, interior design and engineering services for the firm’s Transportation, Industrial and Water + Environment clients. Recent local projects include the design of a greenway on James White Parkway, an advanced traffic system on Middlebrook Pike and a plan to replace traffic signal poles on Gay Street.
Employees in Knoxville are involved in several local industry, civic, and charitable organizations including ASCE, ASHE, ASHRAE, ITE, IEEE, TCAPWA, the LaRose Foundation, Sparks, Boy Scouts of America, Gideon’s International and the Isaiah 117 House. Additionally, team members regularly mentor students at the University of Tennessee during Senior Design and also participate in the biannual cleanup of Sinking Creek through Knox County’s Adopt-a-Stream program.
