Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Andy Stegner, P.E., LEED AP, has joined the firm as the Industrial Market’s Mechanical Department Manager.
Stegner brings nearly two decades of experience in mechanical engineering and design, and he has served in a number of key leadership roles at other consulting firms, including as a senior mechanical engineer and project manager. He has extensive involvement in leading large complex industrial projects from the pursuit phase through project completion, including a number of automotive and tire industry clients such as Mercedes-Benz and Nokian Tyres.
“As we look to grow and expand our industrial market, Andy is the perfect leader to take us to the next level,” said David Verner, RA, NCARB, Executive Vice President of Industrial. “We expect that he will have an immediate impact in our mechanical group with his extensive management experience and industrial background.”
Stegner earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He’s an active member of the East Tennessee chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Association. Outside of the office, he has two active daughters that keep him busy with softball and school activities.
