As executive vice president for Gresham Smith’s Healthcare group, Jim Langlois shapes and leads the market’s growth strategy, client engagement and our healthcare industry role as thought leaders. Jim joined Gresham Smith’s board of directors in 2023.
With over 30 years of diverse experience, Jim has devoted his career to healthcare and biomedical research planning and design, keeping his finger on the pulse of the rapidly changing healthcare, architecture and engineering industries. His expertise spans a wide range of practice areas, including architectural planning, project management, technical building design and business development, as they relate to healthcare architecture. In recognition of his outstanding leadership in healthcare design, Jim was honored as a Health Care Hero by the Charlotte Business Journal.
Prior to joining Gresham Smith, Jim spent 13 years at HDR Architecture, where he established the firm’s Charlotte Architecture office while serving as managing principal. He later transitioned into the role of national healthcare principal for the firm’s federal program.
