Working at the convergence of culture and commerce for over 30 years, Don collaborates with diverse stakeholders and teams to deliver innovative solutions to clients in the corporate, commercial, civic, residential and higher education sectors. His commitment to design excellence and sustainable solutions is reflected in the numerous awards and LEED certifications earned for completed district, campus, and building environments. Among the notable highlights in his portfolio are Nashville Yards, Medpace Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Modera Parkside in Midtown Atlanta. Beyond his professional pursuits, Don has demonstrated a profound commitment to community and industry growth, having served on various boards and committees including the Urban Land Institute’s Atlanta advisory board, the Central Atlanta Progress board, the Midtown Alliance development review committee, and the University of Tennessee College of Architecture + Design’s Dean’s advisory board.

Prior to his current role, Don served as the managing principal of Perkins&Will’s corporate, commercial and civic practice for 18 years. In this capacity, he led the design and execution of milestone projects, including Bridgestone Americas corporate headquarters in Nashville, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Chamblee campus in Atlanta.
