Automated People Mover (APM) Systems and Guideways

As airports continue to expand their footprint to accommodate growing passenger traffic, efficient, around-the-clock transportation systems are more important than ever. In addition to helping travelers and staff conveniently navigate from Point A to Point B, Automated People Mover (APM) systems and guideways are key to mitigating curbside congestion and reducing carbon emissions.

Our architects and structural engineers have combined their expertise to design APMs and guideways at airports across the country, including Tampa International Airport’s SkyConnect and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s SkyTrain. In addition to elevated guideways and the associated stations and maintenance facilities, we’ve also designed elevated passenger walkway structures and moving sidewalks between stations and terminals.
