Gresham Smith, a top-ranked architecture and engineering firm with more than $320 million in 2023 gross revenue, is proud to announce that Laurel Harrison, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP, has joined the firm’s Life and Work Places market as a project executive in the firm’s Nashville office.

Laurel brings more than two decades of specialized expertise in design and project execution, working on a variety of project types including commercial interiors and professional service firms. She aims to leverage her extensive knowledge and experience, gained from working both domestically and internationally, to strategically enhance the firm’s expertise in workplace design.
Harrison joins Gresham Smith from AECOM’s Los Angeles, Calif. office, where she served as the interior design practice leader and associate principal. Prior to her time at AECOM, Harrison co-led the professional service firm’s practice at Gensler’s Los Angeles office for the West Region. She has executed numerous projects for a diverse range of clients, which includes CBRE, Preferred Bank, Greenberg Glusker, Gibson Dunn, Seyfarth Shaw and NASA.
In addition to her work portfolio, Harrison previously served as the director of communications and public relations for the CoreNet Global Southern California chapter. She also maintains an active membership in CoreNet, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and International Interior Design Association (IIDA). A University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduate with a Bachelor of Interior Design, Harrison is excited to be returning to her home state of Tennessee.
