As market vice president of Aviation, Altan Cekin oversees the daily operations of the market and the successful alignment of project delivery with both client goals and the firm’s Strategic Plan. Altan’s key responsibilities include the management and leadership of the Aviation market, project execution quality, and talent management and development. Additionally, he supports the market’s executive vice president in strategic planning and business development.
Specializing in aviation design for more than 25 years, Altan has extensive experience in project management and architectural design for both medium- and large-scale aviation programs. Known for his leadership and effective communication with project teams, clients, contractors, regulatory agencies and stakeholders, he ensures the seamless design and delivery of innovative results for multifaceted projects. Altan’s contributions have played a pivotal role in the success of numerous aviation projects, including the Automated People Mover and Consolidated Rental Car Facility at Tampa International Airport, the terminal lobby expansion at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and the Terminal Modernization Program at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Before taking on the role as MVP, Altan held several key positions at the firm, including head of the Tampa office’s Aviation studio, where he served as a senior architect and project manager.
