The main lobby and patient entrance are located on the western side of the building, adjacent to the vehicular entry along Galiano Street. The ambulatory drive is located on the western façade of the building and shares the patient vehicle entry and exit. The facility provides immediate care to patients, coordinating their response from admission to discharge, and ensuring a smooth transition to either their homes or transfer/admission to the nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital. The newly constructed building is pursuing the LEED Silver Certification, as required by Miami Dade County Ordinance.
