Gresham Smith Named a Best Place to Work in Dallas for Third Year in a Row

Gresham Smith is proud to announce the firm has been named a 2024 Best Places to Work by the Dallas Business Journal. This recognition is based on feedback from Gresham Smith’s employees about the firm’s culture, team effectiveness, work engagement and trust in leadership. Dallas joins eight other Gresham Smith offices that have earned recognition for its strong, positive culture this year.

“At Gresham Smith, we have a long history of fostering a culture where all our employees know that they have the opportunity to grow and thrive, both personally and professionally,” said Gresham Smith CEO Rodney Chester. “We are honored by the fact that the Dallas Business Journal has ranked us among its Best Places to Work list. Our Dallas office has seen significant growth in the past few years thanks to our great culture and outstanding client service.”

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Gresham Smith established a presence in Dallas in 1996. Locally, the team specializes in providing architecture, interior design and engineering services for the firm’s Aviation, Transportation and Water + Environment clients. Recent local projects include an update to the city’s Bicycle System Plan, improvements to the Southside and Central Wastewater Treatment Plants and sustainability consulting at Dallas Love Field Airport.

Gresham Smith’s Dallas office supports numerous civic and professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas chapter, Texas chapter of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), Texas chapter of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Texas section and the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Dallas employees have also participated in numerous community engagement activities, such as planting trees in local parks with Dallas Parks & Recreation, hosting events for students through the Architecture and Design Exchange, and riding in DFW CF Cycle for Life to benefit the cystic fibrosis foundation.
